Hey Folks, bear with me...this is a little bit technical/intricate...kind of.
In the last video, I was using 137.08 doses per 100 people. This gives a vaxxed rate of ~68.5%. That is the percent vaxxed in the UK, but aged 16+ is around 82%. The hospital data does not segregate by age, but I found a chart that does.
The Delta infection rate for unvaxxed (all cases) is 43%. Every other "All Cases" line of data in this chart is around 50%, except one: deaths. Deaths of unvaxxed are only 28%. That's a little strange to me since every other demographic, while larger in size, they still have consistent ratios, until you get to deaths.
Deaths for folks older than 50 are almost 3x's higher for the vaxxed vs the unvaxxed. However, deaths for those younger than 50 are almost 3 times lower for the vaxxed vs the unvaxxed.
This same "flip" occurs in all the charts for >50 and <50 years of age. I'd say "well, its children and young unvaxxed coming in" but doesn't align with the other chart pictured, where it shows younger people are getting it but they're not the majority of hospitlizations.
Open to ideas or explanations!
