Hey folks, my grandpa passed early this morning in his sleep. He was 93. He lived an absolutely incredible life as an onstage and onscreen comedian. He was featured in The Honeymooners and many other old TV shows and movies. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1966.
George Carlin saw him once live and was overheard by my grandmother saying “this guy is the funniest guy I’ve ever seen!”
Rodney Dangerfield banned him from his nightclub after he opened for Dangerfield and stole the show!!
Robin Williams (among others) was known to steal his jokes. Ya, I said it. Come at me, Williams estate 😂
What a great man and a great life!
